Registration are now being accepted for Season 2008-2009, teams can either return these as the End of Season Competitions or by post to the Secretary. Entry Forms can be found in the Centre Pages of your League Handbook.

Winning teams from Season 2006-2007 are reminded that they msut return their trophies to the league by Friday 9th May. These can be taken to Matchplay Snooker Club during the Finals.

The 2007-2008 Stroud and District Skittle League season has almost drawn to a conclusion, congratulations to all our Winners and Runners Up, comiserations to those who missed out. Don't forget to submit your Registration form for season 2008-2009, forms are in the Centre pages of your handbook and can be sent to the Secretary.

The Presentation Evening will be held on the 13th June in the Carol Embury Suite at Forest Green Rovers Football Club. Tickets are still available but are selling well, so oder yours now to avoid disapointment, for further details CLICK HERE.

The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 8th July at Stroud Rugby Club commencing at 7:30pm. All teams are welcome, teams numbered 1-4 (1 and 2 in Section F) in the 2007-2008 Handbook MUST attend, this is to ensure a spread of representation from teams accross all Sections. If you are not sure of your team number please look on the website or contact the Secretary.

If you have any feedback on the League I would be happy to receive your comments, these can be done by completing the Feedback form situated under the Contacts Menu; it's your league, if we don't know what you think then we can't look to improve things.

The League are looking for any unused Result or Cancellation Cards from Last Season. If you have any left over please don't throw them away, return them to the Secretary as they plan to reuse them.

The Stroud and District Skittle League Annual Dance and Presentation Evening was held on Friday 8th June 2007 in the Carol Embury Suite at Forest Green Rovers Football Club. Do you have a Team Picture you would like to see on the website? There are a number of pictures in the Photo Gallery, but I would like some more. If you have a picture and can email the image file I can then publish your teams picture. Unfortunately I cannot publish pictures taken by Freelance Photos at the Presentation Evening. Guideposts Trusts, a charitable organisation, which helps people with leaning disabilities find friends so that they can enjoy similar interests together have contacted the league. They run a friendship scheme are are looking for volunteers who may be willing to help them, so that other can enjoy the sport we love. Forms such as additional Result Cards, Cancellation Cards and Late Signing On are available from this site. Please visit the Download page for Details. Late Signing on of players can also be carried out via the website. There is also an On-Line Cancellation Form which can now be used if you need to cancel a fixture. Results can be emailed in advance to keep the League Results and Tables on the Website up to date. Scorecards MUST still be completed and sent to the Fixture Secretary.
