The 2008-2009 Stroud and District Skittle League Annual Dance and Presentation Evening was held on Friday 12th June 2009 in the Carol Embury Suite at Forest Green Rovers Football Club. With a wide array of teams having won awards, many for the first time, there was a good attendance. Congratulations to all the Winners and Runners Up for Season 2008-2009.

Entertainment was provided by our resident band "Overboard", along with Kelvin Chapman and the "KC Disco", we thanks them for their support. The Presentations were made by David Drew, we thank David for his attendace on the night.

Thanks also goes to Forest Green Rovers Football Club for hosting the event

The league are pleased to announce that the prceeds from the raffle will see £150 donated to both Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation

This season the teams in Sections A-F were presented with glass, Whiskey Glasses for the League awards, and mugs for the Cup Competitions. If you have and feedback on the awards, or the evening in General I would be happy to recieve them.

The Committee of the Stroud and District Skittle League hope that everyone enjoyed the evening and look forward to seeing you for the 2009-2010 Presentation Evening on Friday 11th June 2010.
