The 2010-2011 Stroud and District Skittle League Annual Dance and Presentation Evening was held on Friday 17th June 2011 in the Carol Embury Suite at Forest Green Rovers Football Club; congratulations to all our winners and Runners up. Thanks goes to Forest Green Rovers Football Club for hosting the event

Overboard, our Residant Band from Hereford and Kelvin Chapman and the KC Disco providied the entertainment on the night, we thank them for their attendance. With a number of different teams joined some of our more regular winners for the Annual Event, resulting in a excellant attendance from league members.

David Drew again presented the awards and we would like to thank David for attending and his support during the season. Before the Presentation a cheque was presented for £500 to the Bristol Heart Institute, whilst our raffle raised £356 for the two charities the league supports. Bruce Fenn our regular photographer was unable to attend as he recently underwent an operation; however photographs of the winning teams were taken by the League Secretary, these can be found by CLICKING HERE.

Before the Skittle Presentation commenced a cheque for £500 was presented to Julie Fream of the Gems on behalf of the Bristol Heart Institute. This was in memory of Brian Fream who was Leagie secretary for over 20 years and sadly passed away in August 2009. The Presentation Raffle raised £356, which will be shared between Cancer Research and the Bristol Heart Institue, we thank those members who purchased tickets.
